Friction clip retention provides a stable fit within the housing, contributing to the overall reliability and performance of the trim.
This trim option is well-suited for Halo's H99T, H99RT, and H99ICT fixtures. Halo's Coilex construction, featuring a screw-type thread molded into the baffle, not only looks aesthetically pleasing but also does a better job of eliminating stray light compared to a regular step-type thread. Additionally, users have the option to purchase a socket extender (#H1999) if they wish to use a 50-watt PAR20 bulb with this trim.
The package contents include the Coilex baffle and die-cast trim. The design of this trim helps to reduce glare and brightness, ensuring a more comfortable and controlled lighting experience. The die-cast trim ring, combined with the Coilex precision baffle, can be shaped and manipulated to achieve precise lighting effects, catering to the specific needs and preferences of the user.
To secure the trim within the housing, three cats paw springs are utilized, providing a stable and secure fit.
