The die-formed metal driver/junction box with a captive, hinged junction box cover is a versatile lighting solution. Rated for (6) #12 AWG 90°C splice conductors, it offers 2-in, 2-out and (2) ground connections. The unit features (2) 1/2" conduit pry-outs, accommodating 14-2, 14-3, 12-2, and 12-3 U.S. NM cables, as well as 14-2, 14-3, and 12-2 Canadian NM cables. The integral (3) twist-on wire nuts enable quick and reliable mains voltage connections. The integral mounting design facilitates direct installation to the building structure or a mounting frame.
The 120V 60Hz constant current driver ensures noise-free operation, providing continuous, flicker-free dimming from 100% to 10% with select leading or trailing edge 120V phase-cut dimmers. The fixture is UL Certified for use in the U.S. and Canada, and is suitable for direct contact with air-permeable insulation. However, it is not recommended for use in direct contact with spray foam insulation, as per NEMA LSD57-2013.
Rated for wet locations, the fixture offers IP44 ingress protection and is airtight per ASTM-E283-04. It is suitable for use in clothes closets, complying with the NEC 410.16 spacing requirements. The EMI/RFI emissions meet the FCC 47CFR Part 15 consumer limits, and the fixture is free of mercury and lead, complying with RoHS standards.
Photometric testing was conducted in accordance with IES LM-79-08, and lumen maintenance projections follow IES LM-80-08 and TM-21-11. The fixture can be used to meet the State of California Title 24 high-efficacy LED compliance under JA8, as referenced in the Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDBS) for 2022 JA8 High Efficacy Lighting. Additionally, the fixture is ENERGY STAR® certified.
