Pre-Galvanized Steel Driver/Junction Box with Captive Hinged Junction Box Cover This pre-galvanized steel driver/junction box features a captive, hinged junction box cover, making it easier to install into ceilings. The box offers three 1/2" conduit pry-outs, and two Slide-N-Side™ non-metallic (NM) wire traps that allow wiring outside the box. It accepts NM cable types 14-2, 14-3, 12-2, and 12-3 (U.S.) as well as 14-2, 14-3, and 12-2 (Canadian). Three 4-port push wire nuts with clear caps provide quick and reliable mains voltage connections. Integral mounting holes facilitate direct mounting to the building structure.

Dimmable, Energy-Efficient Driver The 72W, 120V driver provides noise-free operation and continuous, flicker-free dimming down to 5% with select phase-cut dimmers. An inline electrical quick connect allows for a low-voltage connection to the fixture fitting.

Versatile Ceiling Installation The fixture can be installed in ceilings ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/4" thick. Heat-treated springs hold the fixture fitting securely in the ceiling. Halo QuickLink Quick Connectors enable quick installation of additional fixtures.

High-Quality LED Lighting A plurality of mid-power LEDs provide a uniform light source with high efficiency and long life. The lights have a minimum 90 color rendering index (CRI), with R9 greater than 50 for excellent color rendering. Field-selectable color temperature options include 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K, with color accuracy within 4 SDCM. The lighting meets ENERGY STAR® color angular uniformity requirements.

Easy Installation and Versatile Application These LED fixtures are suitable for any room, with the color temperature easily selected during installation. The 640 lumens of brightness make them a great choice for a variety of spaces. The 90 CRI ensures true color representation, and the 50,000-hour lifespan provides long-lasting, maintenance-free operation.

The Halo QuickLink Starter Kit (sold separately) includes a 72W low-voltage remote power supply, 35 feet of low-voltage cable, and four 4-inch LED fixtures. The QuickLink connectors enable ultra-fast wiring and installation, allowing for up to 85% quicker setup than traditional downlights. A single power supply can power up to 11 light fixtures, and the self-healing cable allows for repositioning of the fixtures. The fixtures mount directly to the ceiling and do not require a recessed housing or junction box, making them suitable for 1/2-inch thick ceilings.

High-Quality Construction and Certifications The die-cast aluminum mounting frame with an integral flange provides passive thermal cooling. The high-impact diffuse lens shields the light guide, minimizing pixilation. The closed-cell gasket achieves restrictive airflow requirements without caulking. The power supply and LED fixtures are IC (insulation contact) rated and ENERGY STAR certified.

Wet Location Listing and Versatile Applications These fixtures are wet location listed, making them ideal for indoor or outdoor soffit lighting applications, as well as showers and protected ceilings. They can be used in a variety of indoor and outdoor areas, such as covered porches, outdoor walkways, showers, and indoor dining areas.

Continuous Flicker-Free Dimming and Warranty The fixtures offer continuous, flicker-free dimming down to 5% with select residential-style phase-cut dimmers. They are AIR-TITE, wet location-listed, IC-rated, Title 24 compliant, and ENERGY STAR certified. A 5-year limited warranty is included with the purchase.
