The HALO E27RICAT recessed housing is a compact and efficient shallow recessed remodel housing, optimized and listed for EISA Compliant tungsten-halogen lamps, as well as incandescent, CFL, and LED lamps. This housing is suitable for residential or light commercial shallow ceiling applications, suitable for installation in insulated ceilings and non-insulated ceilings with airtight code-compliant construction.
The HALO E27RICAT recessed housing offers versatility, allowing users to use a variety of trims and finishes to create different lighting effects or to match any decor. It may also be retrofitted with compatible HALO LED lighting systems. The housing can be installed from below the ceiling in home remodel applications, making it ideal for those with limited or no access to their ceiling.
The HALO E27RICAT recessed housing is designed for insulated ceilings where contact is necessary, with a shallow recessed can that fits perfectly in tight spaces with 2 x 6 joist construction. Its exclusive remodel speed clamps securely lock from 3/8 inch to 2 inch ceilings, eliminating the struggle often experienced with recessed housing clips.
The HALO E27RICAT recessed housing is compatible with a wide variety of 6-inch recessed light trims, but is best used with HALO 426, 420, 353, 310, 301, 172, 78, 71, 70, and 30 series models. It is also compatible with a wide variety of 6-inch LED retrofit trims, but is best used with HALO quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD, and ML series models, some of which have a 45-year LED lifespan.
The HALO E27RICAT recessed housing also offers high-performance E26 Series 6-inch trim options. Its Slide-N-Side Junction Box features connectors that allow non-metallic sheathed cable for both U.S. and Canada to be installed without tools. The socket bracket adjusts the lamp to various trim styles and designs, while the three "Quick Connect" connectors eliminate the need for separate wire nuts, allowing users to simply strip the supply wires and push them in.
