Aura, a Bluetooth-enabled smart lock, offers one-touch locking and a motorized deadbolt. Within the Bluetooth range of the lock, you can use the Kwikset app to control the lock, manage its settings, and assign user codes. With your personalized code, you can conveniently enter your home without a physical key. Aura is easy to install and operates on 4 AA batteries. This single-cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked using the keypad or key from the outside, as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish complements the overall look of the product, providing a modern feel.
You can use your phone to lock/unlock, share guest access, monitor activity at the door, and much more while within Bluetooth range of the lock. The backlit keypad supports up to 250 access codes, allowing you to schedule access windows or share one-time codes with guests using the Kwikset app.
The Kwikset app also enables you to view the history log, receive activity notifications, and monitor user access while within Bluetooth range of the lock. You can set a duration for your door to lock automatically after entry or exit, ensuring hands-free security and a quick in-and-out experience.
Aura is easy to install, with a do-it-yourself process that takes just minutes and requires only a screwdriver. It fits doors between 1-3/8" and 2" thick. Kwikset's SmartKey security protects the lock against advanced break-in techniques and allows you to re-key the lock yourself in seconds.
