The pre-galvanized steel driver/junction box features a captive hinged junction box cover, making installation into the ceiling easier. The hinged design enhances the installation process. Three 1/2" conduit pry-outs and two Slide-N-Side non-metallic (NM) wire traps allow for wiring outside the box, providing flexibility. The box accepts NM cable types commonly used in the U.S. and Canada, ensuring compatibility.
Quick and reliable mains voltage connections are facilitated by three 4-port push wire nuts with clear caps. Integral mounting holes enable direct mounting of the unit to the building structure. The heat-treated springs securely hold the fixture fitting in the ceiling, accommodating thicknesses ranging from 1/2" to 1-1/4".
Halo QuickLink Quick Connectors enable rapid installation of additional fixtures, streamlining the process. The plurality of mid-power LEDs offers a uniform light source with high efficiency and long life. A minimum color rendering index (CRI) of 90 and an R9 value greater than 50 ensure high color rendering. Field-selectable color temperature options, ranging from 2700K to 5000K, allow the user to choose the desired color temperature during installation, making these fixtures suitable for any room.
With 935 lumens of brightness, these fixtures are a great choice for any room. The long-lasting operation of up to 50,000 hours of maintenance-free use further enhances their appeal. The package includes a 90W low-voltage remote driver, 40ft of low-voltage cable, and six 6-inch LED fixtures, all featuring QuickLink connectors for fast wiring and installation. The self-healing cable allows for easy repositioning of the fixtures, and the units can be directly mounted to the ceiling without the need for a recessed housing or junction box.
The die-cast aluminum mounting frame with an integral flange provides passive thermal cooling, while the high-impact diffuse lens shields the light guide, minimizing pixelation. A closed-cell gasket achieves the required restrictive airflow without the need for caulking. The power supply is non-IC, and the LED fixtures are IC-rated and Energy Star certified, ensuring compliance with various standards.
