The pre-galvanized steel driver/junction box features a captive hinged junction box cover, facilitating easier installation into the ceiling. The hinged design of the junction box simplifies the installation process. The box includes three 1/2" conduit pry-outs, and two Slide-N-Side non-metallic (NM) wire traps that allow wiring to be routed outside the box. It accepts a variety of NM cable types, including 14-2, 14-3, 12-2, and 12-3 (U.S.) as well as 14-2, 14-3, and 12-2 (Canadian).

For quick and reliable mains voltage connections, the box is equipped with three 4-port push wire nuts featuring clear caps. Integral mounting holes enable direct attachment to the building structure. The heat-treated springs securely hold the fixture fitting in the ceiling, accommodating a wide range of thicknesses, from 1/2" to 1-1/4".

The Halo QuickLink Quick Connectors facilitate a fast and easy installation of additional fixtures. The plurality of mid-power LEDs provide a uniform light source with high efficiency and long life.
